Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi was established in 1919 to encourage and recognize scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting. Throughout the years, the organization has grown to include financial and information systems students and professionals due to the interconnectivity amongst these professions. The National Headquarters is located in Durham, NC. As the premier professional business financial information fraternity, Beta Alpha Psi recognizes academic excellence and complements members' formal education by providing interaction among students, faculty, and professionals, and fosters lifelong growth, service and ethical conduct. The Alpha Kappa chapter at Ohio University was founded in 1952. It was the 33rd chapter to come into existence. At our meetings, we always have a professional speaker or community service activity to participate in.
